A loose series of Punks, depicted as portraits or in a situation which, on the one hand honours the depicted person and on the other is a cipher for different aspects of being human and struggling with oneself and society. The portraits pick up an element of the old masters tradition of portrait painting: added to the depicted person are attributes that emphasise their personality, social status or history.
